| An acupoint refers to a location on the human body at which acupuncture is applied and also a point at which Qi (or human vital energy) and the blood from internal organs flows to the surface of the human body. The Chinese characters Ħ°ëòĦħand Ħ°ÊäĦħ shared the same meaning in the ancient time and carried the meaning of Ħ°transportationĦħ, while the character Ħ°Ñ¨Ħħ means a Ħ°holeĦħ. In the book Ħ°Huang Di Nei JingĦħ, an acupoint is also called Ħ°JieĦħ, Ħ°HuiĦħ, Ħ°Qi XueĦħ, Ħ°Qi FuĦħ, Ħ°Gu KongĦħ and Ħ°XiĦħ. An acupoint was called Ħ°Kong XueĦħ in the book Ħ°A-B Classic of Acupuncture and MoxibustionĦħ and was called Ħ°Xue WeiĦħ in the book Ħ°Sheng Hui Fang
