The Mental Health School of Capital Medical University and Beijing Anding Hospital co-hosted the first Sino-American Mental Health Management Summit on April 6th, during which mental science experts from America as well as mental health workers from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities of China came together looking back and forward to the present and future situation of the mental health field. Liang Wannian, deputy director of the Health Bureau of Beijing, together with the other 9 experts from both sides made conclusive and important speeches on public health policies and mental health management, public health mode of mental health, Chinese mental health service and solutions, strategy studies of mental health situation and harmonious society construction, the present situation and management of Sino-American mental health on the three grade prevention, Chinese human resources construction of health and construction of mental health service quality control system, etc.

The purpose of this summit is to improve the overall level of mental health work through wide communication and studies as well as finding common ground in the field by domestic and foreign experts.
