Good hearing is basically necessary for a quality life. Some people may suffer hearing impairment along with the increase of age, and equally some bad habits can cause hearing damage, therefore, we should make sufficient health care for our ears.
1. Try to wear an earphone or earcover under the noisy environment. Avoid hearing high-pitched noise for a long time, for it is of great damage to one¨s hearing.
2. Try not to appreciate music via earphones. When you have to, turn down the volume. Never try to wear earphones to listen to heavy-metal music or jazz music.
3. Eat more food rich in vitamin, such as fresh vegetables, fruits, cereal food containing corn and rice.
4. Those who are suffering high blood pressure, diabetes and hyperlipemia should accept cure in a regular and efficient way, which could prevent hearing impairment and even more importantly, could help guard against such lethal diseases as cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction and miocardial infarction.
5. Do not take those medicines harmful to hearing, such as Streptomycin, Gentamycin, Neomycin and Kanamycin. Especially those with history of hereditary hearing loss in their families should state clearly to the doctor during diagnosis and avoid taking those medicines, for taking even the conventional dose of such medicine, for this special group of people, is necessarily enough to cause permanent hearing lose.
6. Keep a life of discipline. Do not smoke, especially do not stay up and smoke, because it may result in paroxysmal deafness.
