¢ó Special Reminder Beijing is still in the peak season of intestinal infectious diseases. In addition, the autumn season we are now in is featured with drastic temperature difference between daytime and nighttime. We estimate that there will be more outbreaks of respiratory diseases in accordance with the pathogenesis rule in previous years and seasonal characteristics. Health authorities at all levels need to prioritize health education, prevention and control guidance of respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases at schools, kindergartens and other places with large concentration of people. They should also enhance proactive surveillance and analysis of infectious diseases to prevent the outbreak and spread of such epidemics.
